Happy Friday!
It’s been a busy week with lots of donations! I had a 4:00 p.m. meeting yesterday so my photo taking was cut-short but I still have a bunch to share.
What follows are SOME of the items you’ll find at Ashley Furniture today between 1 and 8 and tomorrow from 9 to 4:00 p.m.!
Remember, everyone is welcome to browse our 30,000 square feet of inventory and you can pay for your purchases with your VISA, MasterCard or Discover card (or cash). Carol Stream tax of 8% is added to the purchase price.
One of our warehouse guys is still out with an injury – so, unfortunately, we continue to NOT to be able to offer delivery. Boo! That said, we do allow our customers two weeks from date of purchase to pickup their furniture and we have several great dock guys who will load, tie down and generally help in whatever way they can.

this is a nice dining set, sadly it sustained some dings on its way to the store – there’s a table, 2 leaves and 6 chairs (only one arm chair though), with table pads – priced $125; matching two piece china cabinet has broken glass (see the cardboard in the second photo?) and I believe the glass shelves also were cracked (oops) – so it’s priced for only $50
this is a two piece oak roll top desk in great condition and is priced $65
this leather sofa has a seam coming apart under both of the floppy arm cushions (you can’t see them unless you look) so is priced $95
this Crate and Barrel sofa needs new seat cushion insert pillows – but otherwise is in very good condition – priced $325
two funky side chairs in good shape – priced $85 each
another very nice loveseat – this one is priced $95
FABULOUS Room & Board Chelsea sofa (89” long) in a marvelous gray fabric and excellent condition (and it’s very comfortable too) – alas the center seam has a rip in it so the piece is priced a very low $95
super sweet white-washed bedroom set includes: 7 drawer dresser for $95; desk with chair for $55; night stand (there’s only one of them) priced $35
amazing, fabulous, gorgeous Victorian antique full-size head board, foot board and side rails (hadn’t been put together when I took these photos) – I normally don’t like this style of furniture and I am totally in love with this piece! – priced $595
we received a donation of tons of books this week – we sell all all our books for 25 cents (yep, you read that correctly a mere quarter – plus 2 cents tax – will buy you a hard cover book). Come in and browse through the boxes!
fantastic Room & Board table (measures 50” x 72”) with one 18” leaf – priced $725 (retails for around $1,800)
wonderful mahogany corner shelf for $60
wood frame settee – we put new cushions we received from the Merchandise Mart on it (you can see the back cushions extend a little higher than the frame) – and are selling it for $85
black leather loveseat (we received three really nice loveseats for donation this week) – priced $145
