SECOND CHARM - SOME VINTAGE FINDS ON THE MONTH OF MAY

Dear All

While I  have fun designing and making furniture from reclaimed solid teak and reproducing some of the classic mid century pieces,  I still love the hunt for vintage  pieces and the surprise finds that awaits me. It really keeps the adrenaline going and often make my day.  Keeping them as they are for their vintage value or giving them a new lease of life by restoring or reupholstering them, that's what we enjoy doing at SECOND CHARM. I share with you some of the finds below.

Vintage metal typing table of the 60's and 70's that we gave a

 new lease of life by painting it bright red as requested.  

The original typing metal table often comes in this colour of grey.  

This one comes without the paper sorter at the side like the above.

  $200 as is condition.

The old swivel and adjustable office chairs that go with vintage table above.

While best to keep the metal parts as they are, the seats are best reupholstered.

Choice of pvc or fabric.  Chair as is at $150.  Reupholstery at $150 each.

Vintage cinema chairs.  As is at $75 each.  

Vintage midcentury chairs.  Best restored and reupholstered.   Restoration, reupholstered  inclusive of choice of fabric or pvc at $250 each.

My best surprise find of the day.  Vintage Diethelm sofa set.  

Love the angle of the armchairs. Taken.

Another vintage mid century sofa set in original condition.  Pencil legs and solid teak. 3-seater restored and reupholstered complete with cushions and cushion covers - $1200. Single armchairs restored and reupholstered  - $450 each.  If you are wondering how the sofa would look after restoration and reupholstery,

 white marble base and  made in Italy. As is condition at $550

PLEASE NOTE:

1.  All our prices are in Singapore Dollars.  

2.  For bespoke pieces, we need a timeline of 1.5- 2 months. We will submit proper drawing,

     detailing specifications, to avoid misunderstanding.

3.  For restorations and reupholstery works, the timeline is also 1.5-2 months. Faster for loose

     upholstery works such as cushion covers and chair seats that can be hand carry.

4.  Delivery charge within Singapore is free for those above $2000.

5.  For our Malaysian customers, we do not charge transport from Singapore to our shop

     in Kuala Lumpur, but we do charge transport from our shop in KL to your home or office.
