Oh boy, with almost 70 photos – and I could have taken MORE – there’s no time for chit-chat!
What follows are fairly bad photos (though for a digital camera from ‘06 they aren’t too horrible) of some of the new-to-us furniture which was donated this week:
this is a fabulous mission style set by Bassett. It includes: a sofa priced $370; end table for $65; two recliners (yes, both these chairs recline and are super comfortable) priced $185 each; and a coffee table for $85. A few wood touch-ups are needed but nothing major
wonderful wood and wrought iron side table by Sauder for $40
great condition side chairs priced $40 each
one of the things I adore about “pre-loved” furniture is just that – it has a history and has been loved. This Lane cedar chest has an inscription on leather that reads: “With Love on Christmas 1983 From George” – so sweet! Priced $125
also by Lane this loveseat is in excellent condition and is priced $95
wonderful drop leaf table with ONE chair – priced $65 for both pieces
two fabulous chair by Fairfield Co. priced $175 each
fine sofa – needs some spot cleaning – priced $85
tufted, carved mahogany rocker fit for a king! Priced $85
excellent loveseat – firm cushions – priced $140
fabulous THREE drawer (looks like more when the drawers are closed) Ethan Allen dresser for $145
so sweet writing desk – top has some wear/scratches – priced $65
micro-suede loveseat – needs to be cleaned – priced $60
fantastic coffee table – with one drawer – priced $55
three chairs – two different styles – one fabric on all – there are two wingback chairs (minor rips on the back corners of both chairs) priced $50 each; the small chair is $40
if you’re experiencing deja vu right now it’s because we had a very similar sofa a couple of months ago. This Broyhill blue plaid sofa has a little bit of yellow in it, is in excellent condition and is priced $235 (price includes the four throw pillows)
here’s another wonderful desk – priced $95
this Room & Board three piece sectional from their Ian Collection is a custom piece upholstered in Tatum and the color is lichen (click here to see the sectional on the R&B site) and retails for $4,047 and appears to be like new. Why would they donate then? Fair question. There are two cushions (shown in the last photo) that have a very strong odor (not 100% sure what the odor is but it is very strong – you would not be able to live with it as is). Can they be cleaned? Can they be replaced? I’m not sure. We’ve priced the sectional at $995 which is just over 75% off the retail price and we hope that price makes figuring out the two odorous cushions worth it!
amazing sofa in excellent condition priced $145
two Ethan Allen chairs (don’t swivel or rock – just chairs) priced $45 (need a few spots cleaned but otherwise in very good condition)
perfect Ethan Allen drop leaf side table for $70
sweet end table for $40
loveseat that sits more like a bench – very firm – would be perfect in an entry – a little worn around the edges – priced $50
this Heywood Wakefield two piece hutch and base has seen better days – but still has that fabulous Heywood Wakefield look – priced $95
this queen size Room & Board headboard and metal platform is from their Copenhagen collection (again, click here to see it on their site) and retails for $1,199 (headboard is maple veneer). Our price? $392 (just under 68% off retail price)
amazing tufted wingback chair with nail-head trim in great condition – priced $125
excellent blue leather loveseat and ottoman for $195
this chair has a back that reclines (but nothing lifts up for your feet – not designed that way), is in really good condition and is priced $125
Blessings and peace, dear reader!
Until next Friday!
