Dear All
Having been in the business for ten years, I thought I have seen all there is to see, of retro and art deco furniture designs, at least in this parts of the world - Singapore and Malaysia. But time and again, certain pieces emerged for the first time and I'm bawled over by their beauty and fine craftsmanship.
These unceasing surprises really add joy and excitement to the finds. I wish I can keep all of them. But for a heartlander like me, it is not possible. To those who get to secure the rare pieces, or some of the representatives vintage furniture of the different periods or eras, count your self, lucky. For all you know, it is the only piece left. Worth keeping as part of the family heritage.
One of those unceasing surprises is this vintage, truly retro bed of the 60's. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Long angled headboard, with attached sideboards that stand on crazily slim tapered high pencil legs, yet sturdy. And lined with uncommon white formica. It is a real sight to behold, a really sexy retro beauty.
