Hi, my name is Joy and I have a confession... I'm a Ashley Junkie! I LOVE Ashley Furniture and many pieces in my house are from Ashley. After begging Susan, she finally relented and let me be a guest blogger this week.
Here's why I love Ashley:
1. It's such an adventure to explore the warehouse each week! With over 30,000 square feet, there are so many great items to consider.
2. There are a lot of great pieces that just need a new location (i.e. your home) to make them sparkle and shine.
3. Ashley is a DIY-ers dream. Hundreds of great items just begging to be painted or reupholstered.
4. The price is right- hidden gems to be found at a fraction of retail prices.
5. Best of all, Ashley helps out the community. Proceeds from Ashley benefits Outreach Community Ministry.
Ashley is open today (Friday) from 1-8 and Saturday from 9-4. Stop on by, munch on a free cookie, and buy some awesome furniture!
Here are the new pieces at Ashley this week:
An orange/tan corduroy couch! Priced at $135.
This 3-piece set with overstuffed cushions has a country feel to it. Imagine sitting in the A/C, paging through a magazine, sipping on a tall glass of iced sweet tea. Chair for $55, loveseat for $65, and sofa for $45.
I got so excited over this next piece, I forgot to list the price! This bench/coffee table would be a nice addition to any room. Best part, remove the three top pieces and find lots of storage underneath. You could also use the tops as a lap desk.
Stylish Drexel side chairs- 2 for $75 each. Off-white with a light dot pattern.
This is a really cool piece: green leather chair that reclines. Reasonably priced at $135 (note some scratches in the leather).
Beautiful floral camel back sofa for $95. Arms need cleaning, but nothing a little cleaner can't fix.
Deep blue sleeper sofa for $95. Excellent condition. Your guest will love sitting on it so much they will beg to sleep over!
Quaint wicker desk and plant stand. Desk is $80 and plant stand is $20. (DIY tip- Don't love white? Wicker is super easy to spray paint a new color!) 2 blue director's chair; $10 each.
Very funky and unique chairs, $55 each. I think they look really nice with the gray velvet couch behind them. :)
Great table with 2 leaves- $85. Perfect for fun family get-togethers!
Entertainment unit for $175. This is great for TVs, but also to hide things! I have an entertainment unit from Ashley that I turned into a craft station. You could also use it as a clothing armoire.
This retro circle table is so cool- priced at $75.
Lovely dresser by Nadeau. $145, some scratches on top. Tons of space for storage.
This is perfect for a basement needing comfortable couches! Denim couches, priced to sell at $35 for the couch and $25 for the loveseat.
Know any babies making their appearance this summer? Wood changing table for $25 and 2 wooden high chairs for $15 each.
This is the best piece of the week ( in my opinion). Beautiful mission-style 3 piece entertainment unit, $235.
Awesome 3 piece sectional couch. Classic blue plaid by Smith and Craft. $75 (needs to be cleaned).
Norman Rockwell inspired collectable plates- just $7 each!
Glass top table and 4 iron chairs- $195. Chairs have a red suede seat that I bet would be an easy thing to swap out and personalize to your favorite color/fabric.
This next piece is really neat! The tabletop detaches from the legs for easy transport and storage. $75.
Really cool small black chairs by Mobler- made in Denmark! 2 for $75 each.
Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of taking you on a virtual trip through Ashley's warehouse this week. When you visit the store this weekend, be sure to look for Susan or any of her helpful volunteers to help you navigate this amazing place.
