LATEST FINDS AT SECOND CHARM

Below are some of our latest finds and restored pieces for the week. Hope you like them.

Beautifully restored vintage 1950 teak dining table (3 x 5 ft) We have since changed the handle to solid brass scallops handles. Good solid dining table is difficult to come by. Because of the size, very seldom are they made of totally solid wood. Usually only the legs and frame are solid and the top non solid. Available at SECOND CHARM, Kuala Lumpur.

Vintage 2.5 hexagon marble shaped kopitiam table. Original condition. Legs of traditional red lacquer. There's a crack on the marble. Available at SECOND CHARM, Singapore

Newly restored 3.5 kopitiam table. With centre pedestal and stepped legs and carved rim. Available at SECOND CHARM, Kuala Lumpur

Vintage 1940's fully restored showcase. 4 ft. Wooden base, slanted front glass. Glass shelves held by hanging adjustable metal ledges and polished brass caps at the edges of the cabinet. Glass shelves not shown in the picture. 2 pieces available a SECOND CHARM, KL.

The above showcase came with a sliding glass door at the back of it as shown.

Rustic odd triangle shaped coffee table. Wood with metal and brass trimmings and studs. SECOND CHARM,Singapore

Vintage 1960's solid teak one and the half door wardrobe. Hanging part on one half with chest of drawers and dresser top on the other half. 4 ft in length which is relatively longer than the normal 2 door wardrobe of the same period. SECOND CHARM, Singapore.

Wooden coffee table plus adjustable chess and backgammon game table. SECOND CHARM, Singapore

Flipped open, you have a backgammon board. Top part of the table can be flipped into a chest board. A clever practical piece.
