THE OLD , THE NEW AND THE BEAUTIFUL - FRIDAY FINDS 23 APRIL

Dear All

Had a few nice finds today. Except for a retro 1960's display cabinet, the rest are relatively new, modern, contemporary pieces. However, they are beautiful and in good conditions, a few are even unique and would add character to one's home. These pieces are in Singapore, at least for the next one month.

Single french armchair. The upholstery is still in good condition. (Reserved till Monday)

A beautifully crafted armchair, combining the typical colonial style arms, with an embellishment of traditional carving without being excessive. Inspite of the colonial and traditional touches, the piece remains a contemporary one. A reinterpretation of the past and a modern classic is born.

The armchair comes with a matching bedside cabinets

A Yamaha piano. In good condition. Slight peelings of the wood at the side that certainly would not affect the sound and which can easily be repaired.



The french polish of the piano is still very glossy that you can see your own reflection.



A vintage 1960's display cabinet to house your books and collectibles. In original condition. Restoration available. (L33.5 x D14 x H51 inches)




A rocking chair. Not to big. Leave it as it is or paint it white or do a folk painting on it if you like and make it your own personal chair.




An interesting rustic coffee table, combining brass and wood. Adds character to any home.(L28 x W27 xH20 inches).



Solid teak planter's chair. Another modern reproduction that is well made.


A round side rattan table with glass top. Rattan and cane furniture never fails to add warmth to a place.


A metal alloy and brass single bed. In good condition.


White metal alloy single bed with side fencing. 2 pieces available . Ideal for children room. In good condition.
